Reiki Healings
During a Reiki healing, you come in and we decide what the focus of our healing should be. After coming to an intention, you lay fully clothed on a massage table. I then place my hands above your body to connect with your energy field. I work with your own natural healing ability and the Universal Energy to bring balance, relaxation, and deep healing. During your healing, I will be guided and receive intuition on the ways to help you to connect to your truth.
Healings can also be done at a distance. During the session, you and I meet via phone, FaceTime, Skype, or other communication service, and I do the healing, working with your energy-body. This works by using symbols designated for this purpose. Distance healings can be just as effective (and sometimes even more so) as in-person healings.

I have been trained as a Reiki Master Teacher in Usui, Karuna, and Tera Mai Reiki. I often combine all forms of Reiki into one healing, but the individual healing techniques can be used as well.
Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki is the traditional method of Reiki that most are familiar with. Usui Reiki utilizes different symbols to promote healing. Reiki was created in the early 1900s in Japan before being brought over to the United States. Mikao Usui is credited with the teachings of Reiki, and the lineage of Reiki Master Teachers often originates with him. These healings are traditional and often done in silence or with some light music.
Karuna Reiki uses sound and chanting to promote another level of healing. Karuna translates to “compassionate action.” It uses certain symbols and sounds to help alleviate the suffering of individuals. During these healings, I will often use instruments, bowls, or chanting to add an extra vibrational frequency element to the healing work.
Tera Mai Reiki uses the elements to promote healing. Earth, Air, Water, and Fire are often invited and incorporated into one’s energy to strengthen the connection and activate deeper healing. During these healings, I will rely upon plant allies and nature to provide a lot of the messages and wisdom.
